Is there an easy way to see if my classic looter is actually working? I just finished setting it up and am paranoid that its missing a lot of stuff.

I have a question about using VTank as a life mage. There are certain critters which you can't kill with life magic. For those, I've got a hand weapon and shield and generally just imp/vuln and hammer them down. How do I automate that in VTank? I've managed to make it imp and vuln, but switching weapons and getting it to attack seems to be beyond me at the moment. Constructive comments appreciated and thanks.

dont think there is a way to swap weapons at a mob %
just add the mob to the Monster Tab and tell it to use the appropriate weapon on it

You would need to dig something worthy of a specific rule off a mule, have it selected and execute "/vt testitem" from chat. Verifying your not missing something is the more difficult side of fine tuning your loot profile. Other then that you'll just have to go on a looting spree and see what you end up with.
FYI: That same method is great for figuring out what specific rule is looting garbage so you can fine tune it a bit. =)

I'll have to play with that idea when i get time. But I think if you do the following it should work:
1) add shield and hand weapon to the "Items" tab same as you would your wand.
2) add the specific monster to the "Monsters" tab, choose the hand weapon and attack type you want the vuln to be for.
3) enable the attack, imp, and vuln options for that monster.
4) find that monster and let me know if it worked.
VTank seems to be unconcerned with what type of toon you are, so the fact that your switching between mage and melee should not matter I think...

Ah, that would make sense; id self, count ammo... unfortantaly I just tested turning "crafting" off and it didn't help.
If that is the reason, maybe V can make ammo checking dependant on ether having combat or crafting enabled? =)

The thing about stopping firing has nothing to do with crafting. Whenever the macro is enabled it watches to see if you fire, and if you do when it doesn't think it should be it stops it.
This is because without this, there are situations where it could keep firing even if the macro is trying to do something else.
I'll look at ways to deal with this later.

This is a random question, but I'm trying to help some of my less technically savvy friends use my loot profile. The problem comes that they cannot find their virindplugin folder, and I've tried having them search for virindi and they say nothing pops up. Personally I changed the install directory, so I do not know what the default one would be.
So finally, my question is where would the default install directory be for win vista? Thanks.
