VTank has been updated: Prismatic Arrows are now supported.

Now I cannot get Vtank to use any arrows except for prismatic ones. I have a profile set up to use frost arrows with my weeping bow and with the SB bow but vtank is using prismatics with them even though its set to frost damage in the monster panel.

EDIT: In my current profile I use pierce and I use frost depending on the monster. When I use frost its almost always with the weeping or SB bow. Pierce is used with bith the SB and a pierce rend bow. Its set this way via the settings for individual monsters in the Monsters tab. Before the update I was using Greater Deadly Pierce (from the GW vendor) and Spectral Frost arrows.

After the update, anytime the profile is set to pierce, it still uses GD Pierce. When the profile is set to Frost, it uses prismatics, even though I don't have a frost rend set in my profile.

Any plans to have VTank do slightly more esoteric buff cycles? For example, use the casting stein to get stam to mana, or health to mana from an item, then heal with a kit? I know it sounds sketchy, but for an item magic only character who casts banes only (getting other buffs other ways) this would be very nice. Thank you for all your work on this program.

Virindi has a list (think a link is on her wiki) of bugs/fixes/wishlist type stuff. She updates it as she adds something and has priorities set for each. If I remember correctly, this is actually on the list. I asked about it like a year ago.

So... This still on the list? I can find a buglist, but not a wishlist on the site. Thanks.

Ah, I see why this could be a problem. Perhaps then prismatics should have their own damage type in the monsters panel, and be selected if 'auto' or 'prismatic' are selected but not an individual element.

That would probably work.

Right now, what setting does Vtank use to determine what arrows it should use? Knowing this would help a lot in designing profiles for use with special bows like the weeping and SB.

0.3.1.65 has been released.

Now for archers it will use...

-"Auto": prefer arrow with the largest average damage

-"Prismatic": prefer prismatic arrows, if no usable ones are found use regular arrows

-A damage type: prefer regular arrows of that type, if none are found use prismatic

Thanks Virindi! This is a lot better!

EDIT:

After playing with the new settings I still have 1 slight issue. My goal is to use prismatics for all pierce damage instead of having both prismatics and GD pierce arrows. However, when I use the SB bow for something and have the damage set as "prismatic" and I am also set to vuln, Vtank vulns to whatever it determines the creature's weakness to be instead of vulning to pierce.

When I change the damage to Pierce that fixes the vuln issue, but then Vtank uses the GD pierce arrows which I would rather not use due to burden issues. I am not sure on the easiest way to fix this.

Yeah, I realize that's an issue. It's not just Prismatic mode that suffers from this problem; it also applies to void, harm and drain auto modes.

I am thinking I will add an 'extra vuln element' so you can vuln something completely different than you are attacking with.

Ok. The bar that I refer to does not move. It is the item bar (HUD) that appears at bottom above the chat bar. It isn't the apps on side. Now about the items not being recognized. In VTank you have a tab for items. WAND/WEAPON/SHIELD, my items if I haven't deleted them out to re-recognize say "<INVALID -2138927947> , <INVALID -2138927949>" and so on. I have tried to take them out and add them again but it does not add them. It is like they don't exit. Please help
