Im sure its in here somewhere but I been looking for awhile now.


How do I get vtank to Imperl mobs with a royal rune weapon then switch and use a rend on the same mob?

I'm sure this is in here somewhere too but can't find it.. how do you get vtank navigation to slow down at the waypoints?

This is actually on Virindis to-do list. She just hasn't got around to it yet.


Summer is generally a no update time for vtank. Can't really blame her.

Prismatic arrows should be the one exception to the no summer update rule. As for the nav thing yeah it's something to enhance but for sure not as critical as the Pris arrow issue.

It's all good Vtank is overall an awesome product, I'm just going to have to keep an eye on the arrows when ACM'ing.

I'd like to see a toggle for "battle only at waypoints" so if you are looting and getting a little ways off the beaten path and the spawn happens, vtank takes you back to your nav point before engaging in battle. That would solve the issue of having nav priority set with a route and never attacking as it prioritizes going to the next point over attacking. If indeed there is another revision coming in the future - something to consider.

All in all - a great plugin.

I would love something like this, so that sticky melee wouldn't get off an unobstructed nav path and wind up trying to run through a wall. But then there might be times where he would get dragged through a spawn away from nav point, and not be able to get back to it to engage in combat again.

I'm sure a couple of modifications to the attack radius and whatnot would still make it quite effective in reducing the number of time's I try to get stuck in a hole in the wall.

While discussing nav I have a couple things to add to my ultimate wish list:

* When set to follow a char who logs out/portals/dies/etc. it would be ideal if the following chars would just temporarily stop attempting to navigate until that char returns. Currently, they do a sort of freak out dance, gyrating wildly, and abandoning all higher functions such as healing or fighting.
* It would be nice if when macroing is started and a nav profile is set up to travel to someplace on the surface or another dungeon than the one the char is in that it will recognize this and won't attempt to navigate. As it is now, chars will just take off into a wall regardless of whether it makes sense or not.
* I would love to have the ability for chars that are following another char to recognize when the the followed char enters a portal and enter that portal also. Perhaps this could be "announced" to other chars with Virindi Integrator noting the portal ID and if the following chars are right next to this portal, they will enter it also. Could be an advanced option to "Follow through portals".
* I would love to have an advanced option to "Maintain Portal Recall". This option would cause chars using a portal during nav to tie the portal an recall that tie rather than just using the portal directly. This is extremely useful in situations like the following: not losing ties to portals that are recallable but not summonable such as Bonecrunch.
* I would love to have an advanced option to "Avoid portals not in nav". This would cause navigation to avoid hitting random landscape or other portals that are in the way of the nav path by either temporarily going around them or even suspending nav when getting too close to a portal that is not a part of the nav until the player can manually go around them.

I realize some of those are a little trickier to implement and some are a little bit specialized in nature. A couple of them though I think could benefit quite a few people. The following issues are one of the few things that I'm still fighting at times when trying to quest/hunt with multiple chars.

Uncheck nav priority and it will attack critters anywhere along the nav route.


If you are in a dungeon and happen to get stuck on walls and can't get back to your nav route, turn the attack and approach ranges down (especially the approach) and use LOTS of nav points along the route.


Pretend this is a wall, hehe..

If you get stuck around a corner where the (X) is, and you are using only a few nav points (1 and 6), and 1 was the last one you hit, it is going to attempt to go back to 1. But...if you were at one and got pulled around the corner by a critter, with many points, the last one you hit would be 4 or 5, which Vtank will then attempt to get back to since it was the last one crossed.


Kinda crappy, but maybe it gets the point across.

anyone know why my vt stops and tries to pickup the deadly arrows being shot at me?
it keeps breaking my macro. this just started happening when they introduced prismatics and made mobs start shooting deadlies i think
