Virindi Tank plugin now available: a combat macro designed for ACM players
Hey VI,
I am experiencing some funky issues since the last update. For some reason, VT keeps unselecting enable buffing , enable combat , auto nav, and enable looting on its own. The settings are enabled on logout, when I log back in after a restart, they are unselected. At first, i thought it was just my mind, but it happened three times today. It's not hard to reselect them, but if i log back into a mob (admittedly, not the best strategy) and these are unselected, my char tends to be toast. I just have been in the habit of logging out, closing client, and restarting quickly after VT eats around a gig of memory. It has never been a problem since I started using the program last April.
Additionally, the VTank bar displays vertically, instead of horizontally and without the option of displaying it horizontally. If I log out and back in again, it tends fix itself, but this never use to happen at all.
Either way, no biggie if I just have to check each log in, just thought I'd let you know.

Did you logout because you died and you were autologged by some other program? If so, this is expected behavior now. Those settings are disabled rather than turning off the macro entirely so that dead leaders at the LS can still be voted out.
When you die, a message pops up with a link to re-enable the settings.

Hi VI, I believe when you die the macro stops running - wondering why that isn't sufficient in terms of voting out the dead leaders at the LS? Also, I sent you a PM though this site's Private Message system - wondering if you received it?

Thanks
Votes are only available when the leader's macro is enabled. I didn't want to add stuff that the macro can do while it is off, my goal is to minimize that to avoid confusion.
Yes, I received your message. Thanks for the kind words

Hey again,
No, this is all manual. I will run to a relatively safe spot, log out, exit client, log back in. The settings are then unenabled.
Now that I look for it, not such a big deal. The first couple times though, I just kept saying, "fight you idiot!" And they'd just stand there. Now I know why.

VI - I know I am most likely in the minority but I wanted to ask anyways.
I do not want to use the whole bundle.
I know your aware of my belief that no tank can keep chef alive, and I really have no desire to macro to hunt.
I just wanted to enable Virindi Views for the plugins that are supporting it.
45 minutes of toying with enabling and disabling and I had it working.
When I logged in tonight an update changed my settings and I find myself at square one.
What components have to be enabled for just Virindi Views to work?
Would you consider releasing just a Views bundle?

Uncheck all the bundled plugins you don't want. No bundle component requires any other bundle component to operate.
Unfortunately right now though the checked/unchecked status of an item gets reset to checked everytime that item is updated.
