I've been playing this game since the release on PS3 and haven't had any problems.

I bought my Ps3 on release day, and I have been playing Skyrim since release day on it.... no problems whatsoever. my main save file is at 14mb and it gets a little laggy here and there but it is FAR from unplayable.

As I said -- like the frog in the water ... Since it gets worse slowly and each day is just a little worse than the last, people have a huge amount of ability to tolerate a problem that shouldnt be there.... Try loading up a new game (as your first action after you turn the machine on -- not after you had played with the other file) and you will see the difference.
