Reading, fishing (which in the past has involved hiking to get to the good fishing lakes but now I can just sit my ass on a boat and drink beer), skiing.
I'm looking forward to adding piano back to that list, but it's going to be just over another year before I can get a piano.

Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?' Then a voice says to me, 'This is going to take more than one night.'

I find agate pretty often at the beach, and I brought a bunch of petrified wood back from SE Alaska. Rock collecting has been a family hobby for many years, my grandmother and aunt both collected rocks from the beach and I inherited those, and I'll be passing them on to my son who started collecting driveway rocks when he was 3 or 4.

My collecting started when I was little, too. My grandmother always brought a rock back from wherever she went. I bring back 100s!

I collect sea shells, too, but I'm on the wrong side of the state to find the really nice ones. I've had better luck with fossilized shark's teeth - lemon, bull, dusky, mako, megaladon, tiger and snaggletooth (that I can recall).

I steal rocks from state and national parks... I always worry that I'm gonna get caught. People think I'm nuts, but I'm like... free souvenir!

i can't imagine just happening upon a megaladon tooth. i know they're pretty common due to how easily and cheaply one can purchase them. but just looking down and going oh look a huge goddamn shark tooth!

You don't generally just happen upon one. We were fossil hunting in the Peace River in Central FL. We have three broken ones and one really nice one that's about 2". They're all black/grey. Pretty much any fossil in the river is like that.

Hey there, doing well, busy as all get out with work, hobbies and kids heading off to college, not necessarily in that order. How are you? Will do.

We're doing great, busy as well. I can't believe your kids are college age already. Hard to believe our little girl is already six
