My dad raised us that "if you're on time, you're LATE". I am always early, generally 5-15 minutes or so. I always bring my iphone, plus I will have a notebook/pen and maybe a book to while away the time if I am earlier than I expected to be.

If you're not 5 minutes early, you're 10 minutes late.

I'm always early. Normally 15-30 minutes early. If it's not a good thing to be that early I wait outside.

I'm always on time... Even if I leave late... Irritates the hell out of my mother.

10 minutes early AT MOST.
Anything earlier makes you look like you've nothing better to do with your time.
I'm never "early" to work because I don't work for free.

This too. I'll either wait in my car or find a nearby shop or cafe or something.

Always early. And if I am choosing to do something with my time, that DOES mean I don't have anything better to do. If I DID have something better to do I would be early for that, instead.
I value people's time, and couldn't give a rats ass about looking cool. If you want to go to lunch with me, it means I feel you are a cool person in some way and you deserve my respect. I don't feel formal attire or anything like that confers any real sense of respect. I SHOW people that I respect them by saying "hey your time is just as valuable as mine."
Also I hate getting stared at, and no surer way to do that than to be the last guy walking into a room

If you're not 10 minutes early, you're 10 minutes late.
That's how I work.
