bcs computer rankings still held OSU over the Tide at the end of the season, it was the polls that pushed the Tide into the national championship game.
no sports should have the chance to play in the championship game based on popular vote.

Pretty much says it all right there...I don't know what all the hype was, but I'm glad I didn't have any bets going for an LSU win or a spread. What a disappointment for a BCS title game - it's as if LSU didn't even try.
It really makes me wonder if there was some sort of SEC "Let Bama win or else" thing going on. LSU really didn't look like they were even trying. I mean, they ran maybe 5 different plays total?

You arent factoring in the only reason that Alabama got put into the championship game either. Money, and the SEC coaches that wanted more of it. If the SEC coaches hadnt voted OSU 3rd and 4th in the rankings for monitary purposes Alabama wouldnt have even been in the game. Its all a farce.

I think Bama showed last night they deserved to be in the game. They beat the snot out of the team that was a unanimous #1.

if lsu had a offense to mention then yes, but the Tide took a middle of the road offense at best and made them look down right sorry.
