He is making impossible for the GOP to say no anymore.
By adopting GOP tenements/ideas, right before the election.
That is a very smart move, use their ideas and words against them.
If they say no they look like clowns in a election year.

we all know he has no interest in shrinking government, his track record and political philosophy makes that obvious. its crystal clear that this is simply a political move of him sacrificing a chicken to walk away with the cow. whenever politicians do this kind of thing it pisses me off because they're essentially trying to make fools out of all of us and they think we're all stupid enough that we don't understand what they're doing. if you can't hold support based on your true ideals then you don't belong there, don't screw around with transparent political maneuverings that insults the intelligence of your constituents.
