It's been playable for me and many, many, many other people. Sounds like an issue with your system.

and the many many other people that has created threads that number into the 10's of thousands of posts?

really stop being ignorant.

the devs even said it was a issue with some broken coding forcing some machines to overwrite textures instead of deleting them from cache.

So they obviously knew about it. Why waste customer services' time telling them about something and expecting a response for something they already know about?

Oh, and a few thousand people having issues? Out of reported 1.5mil players? Sounds like a pretty low percentage..

Do you not understand the difference between a csr and a developer?
Csr's have nothing to do with the coding or the operation of the game.
Their only job is to respond to customers, unless EA/BW is being cheap and forcing members of the dev team to cover customer support.
They could have took the time to give a response that is the job of customer service. If they dont have adequate staffing to respond in a timely manner then hire more mtherfcking people.

I played through the 10 level tutorial area.

Does the entire game limit you to not being able to group with friends of the same class?

You obviously didn't play the game..

Whenever you go into a "Green wall" area it says "No more than one player of this type of class can enter."

It happens 3-4 times through the first 10 levels.

I couldn't last two weeks

I loved the Knights of the old republic games.

I couldn't get into this one.

it just felt like I was playing WoW with a star wars skin. Maybe it was the sage class but the storyline was uninteresting and I didn't care about the characters at all. Wish I could have had a different companion at the start,

having lots of fun, the jk story is awesome. but without macros and add ons or some crazy 15 macro mouse its difficult to play my class, so i probably won't do much at 50 with this char at least until they add macros and add ons

That's your class quest instance. If you're in a group they can come in as long as they aren't the same class (or you enabled same-class in class quest instances in your options)

The ONLY quests that are such that grouping with another person of the same class becomes an issue is the class quest story line.
ALL other content you can group with others of the same class just fine.

And even the class quest story line can be grouped with another person of the same class.
You first have to change a setting to allow same class to enter class quests area.

The first person to enter the area is the quest owner, and will be the only one of the class to complete it.
The other person of the same class upon attempting to enter will get a two choice window...to join the same instance as you, or to enter a new instance. If they choose to enter your instance, they can participate in helping you to complete the fights, but will only be a spectator in the conversations.

You need to leave the instance and allow the other person to enter, and do the quest again to complete the class quest for them.

So the answer to my question would be yes... it still happens.

Nobody else finds that pretty annoying?

If myself and 3 friends want to quest and play the same class, we have to do them all 3 times

No, I do not find it annoying. The class quest series was really designed to be done solo.

It is the only quests where this will be an issue. But if you you all want to play the same class, and group together for the class quest, then yes, you will have to complete it 4 times if there are 4 of you.

I didn't read the thread, but heres my experience.

My friends call me up, tell me they are going to play.

I have two weeks off of photoshoots, so I crank a Sith Juggernaut (ive always played a tank) to level 50 in 7 days. Start WZing.

Empire on my server couldn't win a WZ if you paid them. Theres at least 4-5 Juggs in each WZ, and no healers. Empire couldn't roll a healer to save their lives (giggle).

So doing my daily / weekly pvp quests takes about 40-50 WZ's to win 9, as well, half the time when I win a WZ, I dont get credit, quest bug, which is enraging.

I dont really know what to do with my jugg in pvp, I went tank spec, and spend my time guarding / keeping the few healers we do have alive. Results in about 7-9 medals a WZ, but I couldn't kill a repub if I tried.

Illum is a retarded waste of time on our server. We just camp the republicans in their base all damn day. So boring.

So I rerolled an operative, leveling him now. We will see how that goes. Its an amazing game, and the leveling is crazy fun. Im just a sh*t Juggernaut, haha.
