Brady's the best QB in history. Manning's probably 4th or so.
A couple of negatives on Brady would make me hesitate before putting him at number 1.
Aside from 07, never throws the ball down field. Avg completion at the spot of the catch is 4 yards.
He plays poorly when there is a pass rush.
Part of the great YAC yards is a testament to his great accuracy. But the passrush factor is huge. I think if Brady gets drafted by say... Chicago then there is no Tom Brady.
you state some ok points, but hardly anything to limit him from any list...then you finish it off with something more moronic than the OP's list.
now to satisfy Cuttlery...
1) Aaron Rodgers - WAY too early to make this ranking
2) Bart Starr - way too many turnovers...must be a green bay thing
3) Don Majikowski - 66 TD's 67 INT's...enough said...again, green bay thing
4) John Elway - could be mentioned, though too high
5) Tom Brady - too low, body of work speaks for itself.
6) Steve Young - sat too long but bottom half of top 10 is OK
7) Joe Montana - for sure top 5.
8) Lynn Dickie - green bay thing, turn over machine
9) Roger Staubach - better than any GB above
10) Brett Favre - Turnover king does not belong in top 10...NO ONE will even come close to those records...EVER...then throw in he loses when it matters most except for one year...and again, green bay thing.
seriously though, what's with GB's history of turning the ball over???
i knew Favre was horrible with that aspect but it seems to be a team thing! WTF are they doing with Rodgers, he doesn't fit their mold!
