we don't print receipts anymore unless the customer asks for it. in my experience in retail 90% of people or more don't want it or trash it if you give it to them. waste is waste, save costs where you can.

my einsteins bagels place still prints the receipt, then asks if we want it, then throws it away for us.
no paper savings there.
