Not so sure about that. Like someone said, it's still early.
Just look at Obama in 08. He was a nobody until he won the primary then he picked up momentum and took the election running away.
Obama networked his 08' campaign better and tapped into the college vote with his "register early" initiative on major campuses all over the country. That helped him greatly in the election.

The only morons are the American people as a whole.
Getting fired up over which pandering criminal will be better in the Office of the President.
The problem is career politicians, lobbying, and size of government.
Obama will screw up the country the same amount as the next Republican President.

I like how everyone focuses on the president at all times when his powers are limited compared to congress. I don't get it with you America, I try to understand but it just doesn't make any sense.

I don't know about you guys, but everyone I know was better off during the Bush years. He got the economy back on track during the recession that followed 9/11 attacks, which were a direct result of the Clinton regimes intelligence failures.

Didn't he drop interest rates which led to an increasing in borrowing, which helped accelerate the housing bubble growth and collapse?

The Clinton Regime's intelligence failures were a direct result of people like you voting for assholes who bankrupt the country.
Basically, you have a Cycle in the US:
Democrats get a crappy economy from a Republican President, spend all their terms cleaning it up which leads to making the Republicans look good when they get back into power and break it all.
Repeat.
