Yay for not reading the rest of my post and only latching onto one thing!
Also I tend to doubt the bit about trying to starve her into eating other foods. People who are hungry enough will eat things that they previously wouldn't touch, and how long did she keep it up? Two days? Three? More? The mother never consulted a doctor, just "gave up" when nothing she tried worked. Never had her see a shrink, etc. (you'd think she would have mentioned this kind of stuff in the article).

I'm pretty lucky the twins like vegetables already, something I never did. Of course I think it helps we don't use those awful canned veges.. f'n disgusting

Wow, are you so naive to believe that a 2 year old, after having a single meal of chicken nuggets, immediately decided to starve rather than eat something else?

twice growing up i refused to eat what was for dinner.
the first time, i went to bed hungry
the second time was with my grandparents. the next day i wasnt allowed to go on the fishing trip,
after that, i ate what was in front of me, unless it was my grandmothers special; spam, relish, and mayo ground up, put in a patty and fried....my grandfather doesnt even touch that
