Not always the girlfriend... Im not a big fan of celebrations in general (i understand why we have to have them, and i dont sulk in the corner or anything, i just think we can acknowledge important stuff without making a big to-do about it), and the Hallmark "holidays" really bother me. But, my husband likes to celebrate Valentines day, so we celebrate. And yeah, it's nice to be made a fuss of, and i do appreciate it, but i'd be equally as happy to just not bother at all.
