i read about a girl who was ostensibly a problem child for her mother because she wouldn't wear most clothes or eat certain foods. her clothes felt really scratchy and it stressed her relationship with her mother. when she was in her thirties when she found out she had this perceptual problem all along.
I have issues with the feeling of certain materials...newspaper, velvet (I HATE velvet!), velour, some microfibers, etc. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Why? It doesnt really affect him. Its not like i go on about it to him all the time, the food stuff does get annoying for him sometimes, but 90% of the time i just fix something different for myself, we both know why and we dont need to discuss it. It really doesnt impact on his life at all.

Oh i still do that  i just have to watch my gag reflex is all. And i dont let it get to the spit/ swallow dilema because the taste and texture of *that* makes me retch
