I finally got rid of a pair of trainers (sneakers) that i got in 2007 and have worn 90% of the time when i leave the house, and we only bought new ones because Wolfz felt that it might just be time to replace them. It takes so long to get them to that "worn in, super comfortable" phase that once they get there im reluctant to get rid of them!

My new ones are super cute, though, i must admit!

I'm still wearing the boots I bought in 1981. Replaced the soles a dozen times or so, but they still look and feel great.

My current pair is all stretched to hell, only one of them has a lace and the bottom is cracked on both so they pump water when I walk in the rain/slush. Got them in 2005 or 2006.

my new ones (2 years old) aren't comfy.

my favorites (keen) are wearing out, soles have a few holes (not yet all the way through) maybe buy a new pair in a few months. Despite the stereotype I am not a huge shoe buyer...

This thread begs the question: do the "women" of ACF use a funnel to get that much sand in their vagina or do they just slide around the beach like an angry Roomba? -deadcactus-

No, im not either. As a rule i have one pair of trainers, one pair of "nice" trainers (for going out when you dont quite require proper shoes, but also shouldnt wear your ratty old trainers), one pair of nice flats, one pair of nice heels, snow boots and regular boots. That is more than enough, as far as im concerned.

6-12 months for my workout shoes. Longer for the pair or two that I wear to work.

I still use the same pair from junior year in HS... 20+ years old.
