You can fix it cheap or replace it for a lot. Ovens are incredibly easy. Our electric one went out a few years ago and the wifey got all excited cause she thought she could get a new one. I picked up a new heating element for $22 and popped that sucker right in.

The stove works, the oven does not.
Thought it was just the element but we got a new one and that doesnt work either.
