Get the phone that has the best screen, the best processor and the best graphics chip for the cheapest price.
Do research. Or just listen to me when I say buy a Samsung Galaxy SII or wait for the SIII

i got a refurb Samsung Fascination ( galaxy one i think) for my first smart phone a couple of weeks ago and so far i like it a lot but since it's my first i don't really have anything to compare it to so i just wasted bandwidth with my post as always

AT&T? If you have LTE in your area, the Galaxy S II Skyrocket is good, if it's not too big for your hands. If you can get by on HSPA+ (3.5G, basically), the standard GS2 is a good choice.
