If he is experiencing chills or feeling lowsy it could be staph which require antibiotics. Most likely it is not staph. And my method will shrink the thing and it will disappear in 1-2 days.

Wait till it gets a head on it, a white head, then pop it and run like crazy cause it is gonna spray, and bleed a bit afterwards, you get those more in the tropics cause your balls sweat more here.
Messing with it before it gets a head on it is counter productive, and you just push it in deeper.
Make sure you clean the area with alcohol before and after.
If it never gets a head on it and bleeds clear or gets a clear head on it, then you have a bigger problem, probably herpes.
