Brad Paisley is way better than any modern country musician has any right to be.

Tull

FYI, spent most of last evening re-learning the bass part to Living in the Past. Damn it's quick.

Rho

Glenn Cornick -- yet another Tull member who is one of the most underrated musicians ever. Barre is seriously underrated (check out Misere if you've not heard it); Ian is underrated on every instrument that is not a flute; Cornick is one of the true greats on bass; Clive Bunker was tremendous; and Barriemore Barlow was said, by John Bonham, to be the greatest drummer England ever produced.

Ian had a way of attracting tremendously talented people to him -- or, perhaps, inspiring them to play tremendously well. (Ritchie Blackmore said Tull members must "have memories like computers" to play Ian's music. He also, incidentally, called Glascock the best bassist in rock.)

Duane Allman and Dickey Betts in "Whipping Post" from the Fillmore East album.

Pick any solo from any song on that album really...
