so let me get this straight. you have aaa but didn't call them because one time it took forever. so instead of walking a relatively short distance, you decided to go ahead and break the car more. and you're complaining about the cost?

Ok, I'll bite
walk a short distance and do what? complain to the service station? ask them for a tow? what? I could of taken the tire off and carried it to them, but then would have to wait for them to order it, mount it, and then roll it back? I drove very slow in the break down lane and didn't do any more damage at all..
I tested it at 90 on the way home and drove smooth as a top. very smooth even,.. it's nice what 4 brand new tires will do.. yes it was more than I wanted to pay, but I was in a spot, and did what I had to do..
Don't really get your point
It was wait for 4 hours for AAA to get there, and tow the van a 1/4 mile, or just drive it myself and save 3.50 hours of the day
I made the right move
