I'm mostly bitter about the day because it gets shoved down your throat everywhere you turn. People asking you if you are going to spend it with that special someone, or people acting like it's so special of a day because they get to spend it with their honey, then there are the people that are all butt hurt because they can't spend it with their honey. I really do treat it like any other day of the year, just like Christmas and Thanksgiving. The worst is people that act like they are sorry for you because you are single.
I don't sit at home getting stoned and playing video games. I have a pretty decent social life, I work,and I go to school.
Also i'm a good at faking being in a good mood at work. Something really bad could happen in my life and if I have to work, no one will ever know that i'm upset or sad.

we live in a country where stories of hate and sadness FLOOD our news near 24x7.
but here we have a single day thats been set aside for expressing a higher emotion like love and you get people sh*tting on it for one reason or another.
FORGET the who or why the day exists and run with it!
save the hate for the OTHER 364 days of the year.   
Because like so many other things, over-commercialisation ruined it

It's times like these when I wonder if knowing the woman you love is happy; but in love with someone else... Is better or worse than... Having the woman you love, love you back; but being unable to be with her because she passed away.
I'm rather surprised how smoothly this day has gone by.
