Interesting, he sounds a lot less crazy when you do some reading on him.

Cause you're not quite evil enough. You're semi-evil, you're quasi-evil, you're the margarine of evil,
you're the diet coke of evil, just one calorie, not "evil" enough.

Yup, because compared to other health care costs, condoms are a real financial issue. That negligible cost really is what he is worked up over.

There's lots of things I'd prefer the government didn't pay for, but guess what? In a country with millions of people, you don't get to force the government to only do what you want.

"In the past decade, the federal government has spent more than $1 billion on programs that promote abstinence as the only healthy choice to make about sex before marriage. Last week, the government's own long-term evaluation of the initiatives, required by Congress in 1997, showed that these programs seem to accomplish essentially nothing. That's right: Nada. Students in the programs were no more likely to abstain from sex than their peers. And if they did lose their virginity, they tended to do so at the same average age and have the same number of sexual partners as other students did. As Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., put it, "In short, American taxpayers appear to have paid over 1 billion federal dollars for programs that have no impact."

You don't really have to argue that hard to convince me that a lot of what the government spends MY money on is wasted.

Have you or have you known anyone that has had government pay for their birth control? How is this even an issue that he speaks about?

This thread begs the question: do the "women" of ACF use a funnel to get that much sand in their vagina or do they just slide around the beach like an angry Roomba? -deadcactus-

Rho would rather pay the extra policing and insurance costs associated with the extra crime that unwanted pregnancies eventually result in through improperly raised children, poverty, etc, etc.

Its the conservative way.

Nah. He's just correct in his assumption that once the government stop's giving so much incentive for these young women to pop out kids, that they'll stop having sex.

It's ridiculous how easy it is for a single mother to get rich by doing nothing by having illegitimate babies.

Honest question because I don't know the answer, but is Planned Parenthood funded by the government? I had a g/f that would get a sh**load of condoms and her birth control for free through them.
