Looks like the Vikings will get a new billion dollar stadium
|
Hopefully thats being funded by the city of Minneapolis tax payers cause I sure as hell dont want my tax dollars going to that waste. Should have just let the team move to LA.

I wonder why you, a Packers fan apparently living in Minnesota, would not want your tax dollars going towards a new stadium for the Vikings, a football team that happens to not be the Packers.

Because its a billion dollars being used on a stadium for a football team that will play 10 times a year in it. There is no benefit to building a billion dollar stadium here, it wont pay for itself in jobs. I dont care if they are building a stadium for whomever if it is actually benefiting the state in some way, in this case the only benefit is to a small handful of fans who wants to have a new stadium, and a billionaire owner.

Pretty sure they wanted a field with a retractable roof and then it was just an open air field. I am bummed they are building it outside of the city. What the hell are they going to do with the Dome now.
