we were hit twice.. so yeah we have a complete alarm system

glad your house didn't get hit

it sucks


we tried to move home owners insurance and was told gtfo because of the 2 breakins

Nope, and I have the worst dog alarm ever. Today we're in the basement, and my friend came by... I could hear her calling upstairs, and the stupid hound only woke up when the kids and I went upstairs to see my friend.

Guess I forgot to lock the door again. I have to stop doing that, especially considering how stupid the dog apparently is! Oh but he won't miss a bark when my Dad, who also lives here, gets home. Hears the car a block away and barks as soon as he walks up the path.

Only good thing about our door locks is that one is an old-school one like these and the other is the safety one like these

no, i have 3 retired neighbors and we live in a cove though...and they are ALWAYS home it seems like.

plus, I'm always home too, so my car is out front.

and if someone was to get in and I heard them, I'm about 25 foot from a room with 15+ guns in it, and if I'm downstairs we have a loaded 12 gauge and a loaded .38 special in my parents' room...

We have pretty observant neighbors though...they call us all the time telling us if someone was at our house in a car they didn't recognize or something (like if it was someone we had told how to get in to get something), just making sure we knew who they were...especially if we're out of town or something.

and we live about 2 minutes from 2 police stations, so they'd be screwed if someone called 911 on them.
