I don't get the joke?  How would that even work as birth control? (Or is the joke that it obviously doesn't)... 
Ok I read some of the article. I still don't get how that would be considered a joke. Or is it because their legs have to stay closed to hold it there?

I just read an article that discussed how two different parts of your brain are used to get a joke. One part to decipher or "get" the joke and another side that finds the humor in it. Apparently that is not a joke at all because neither side of my brain worked
