It's an old joke that oldtimers in the 70s used to tell. The fact of the matter is people are people and they did the same then, they just were a bit more quiet about it. The way to get laid again and again was to not tell.

Talk to a woman who lived through this time. They get honest after 65. People were effing just as much they just kept it private. These old fogey white males were clueless to what was going on then and they remain clueless today.

Why oh why is this considered a controversy? Old guy uses the aspirin joke that was common (particularly among the womenfolk) for most of the 20th century. Gets castigated for it because apparently standards have so changed.
