and in box 3 write *the criminal justice system is flawed*
if you make it through to the final questions, the judge will throw you out.
it IS BS though, i get called every 3 years.
i went one time and sat there from 7:30am to 4pm and not a single panel was called out of the room.
i've also been dismissed at 9:00am before too.
what sucks is it's $15 to park.

They issue a bench warrant for your arrest if they call you and you aren't there. You've just gotten lucky that you weren't actually called. Then you can spend a night in jail while you wait for your chance to use the old "I never got it in the mail" excuse.

Only time a jury summons came to us was three months after we'd moved out of the state. He just called them and said "  eah, not gonna be there- it'd be an 18 hour drive, since, you know, we MOVED three months ago".

a few years ago there was a bench warrant issued on my great grandfather.
my grandfather (his son) actually had to appear in court with his death certificate from 17 years prior!
