God forbid they slow things down a bit to try and develop some characters and relationships. Would you rather just have had them stay in Atlanta and shoot zombies all day until they ran out of ammo and died? Wouldnt have been very smart....

And screw all the heartless idiots who complained about how long they searched for Sophia. I found that to be very realistic that they refused to give up even considering the circumstances.

The last 2 episodes have been fantastic and its only going to get better as the season comes to an end. But if you're just another ADD American then go find something else to watch.

I would rather them follow the comic a bit more...actually move things along a little bit.

I'll admit I never read the comic, but I did read up on the basic plot of it and how the show has deviated. Shane being the big part of that so far. But comic characters are easier to bring in, kill off, replace, etc. Having a show with the same faces each week is more important sometimes. I think the major portion of the character development is about done with and we'll start seeing some of the crazy stuff that comes up in the comics.

This thread begs the question: do the "women" of ACF use a funnel to get that much sand in their vagina or do they just slide around the beach like an angry Roomba? -deadcactus-

I'm a Dual citizen. but hey at least I'm not a stinking foreigner who makes general asinine assumptions.

oh wait I am that too... except for the stinking part.... damn

I don't watch Soap operas for a reason. I don't like to see a show with an interesting premise filled with garbage soap opera drama simply to try to garner a wider audience which is what I feel a lot of the shows I like are doing.

Did I offend you by expressing my dislike for the repetitive Zombie movie genre?

I can't help it that most zombie movies suck. The aforementioned Night of the Living Dead is the one I liked most. Then there was 28 days later which was pretty good. Then there's the Evil Dead series which I don't consider zombie movies at all.

Besides that, name a zombie movie that was good? They all have crappy characters nobody cares about and the only reason anybody watches them is for exaggerated gore and carnage and cheap scares.

I'm glad you mentioned 28 Days Later, I liked that one. I was a fan of Dawn of the Dead, I thought they did some things really well, but being atmospheric is a far cry from making you think, so in that respect it wasn't all that good.

I saw one episode of The Walking Dead and nothing really happened. I felt like taking a nap, and I never get sleepy with a television on. It was THAT slow. Maybe I just saw a bad episode...

Then it wasn't the pilot episode. That sucked me in hard.

I wasn't all that thrilled of the first half of season 2...but I really enjoyed the mid-season finale, and like where the first 2 episodes of the second half are going.

Try it again from the start...and make your way through 2.0

2.5 is looking really interesting.

Hmm, I should give it another chance

Not a good show, but it's still in the top 10, if not to 5 of things airing currently. TV sucks.

I rather enjoy the show. I just wished they would slow it down some and concentrate on character development more.

I like the walking dead, BUT I dislike the filler drama. the show is called the walking dead, it's about the damn zombies not the soap opera drama.

The latest episode was still slow from a plotline point of view, but it had a LOT more zombie action than most of the series so far.

And for zombie movies, as my beloved Shaun of the Dead has already been mentioned, then I counter with Zombieland. I mean, what could be a better guy-flick than a movie where halfway through they sit down to watch Ghostbusters?!?!

Always double-tap, brothers.
