Dear ACF, The Walking Dead is not a good show... [Locked] |

Dear ACF, The Walking Dead is not a good show... |
I like the walking dead, BUT I dislike the filler drama. the show is called the walking dead, it's about the damn zombies not the soap opera drama.
that's one thing I am disliking about the walking dead, falling skies and terra nova. they have these great settings, but decide to clutter up the series with soap opera drama that frankly kills the setting (not so much Falling Skies, it's been pretty good with less drama crap.) All in an attempt to draw in a wider audience.
It's like when SciFi said they want to get away from Science Fiction and diversify their audience and became Syfy, and it became wrestling and suckie non scifi shows.

Though I've never seen it, I'm sure Toddler & Tiaras is a better show than The Walking Dead.

Considering that almost all if not all of them are going to die, then yes. They are the walking dead and they don't even know it yet. There's also plenty of pretty much nameless characters at the farm that they can kill off by season's end.

I enjoyed the first season with a couple of exceptions.
I'm 3 episodes into season 2 and am having trouble motivating myself to continue.

God forbid they slow things down a bit to try and develop some characters and relationships. Would you rather just have had them stay in Atlanta and shoot zombies all day until they ran out of ammo and died? Wouldnt have been very smart....
And screw all the heartless idiots who complained about how long they searched for Sophia. I found that to be very realistic that they refused to give up even considering the circumstances.
The last 2 episodes have been fantastic and its only going to get better as the season comes to an end. But if you're just another ADD American then go find something else to watch.
