the show ancient aliens mentions the gold for fuel, pyramids for landing their ships, the drawings in the desert is for landing of ships. minotaurs and others were breeding projects with human females and other human females breed with the gods etc..... and tons of other stupid theories.

The show mentions gold, but who says they would have come here for a known element like gold for fuel? Scientists have discovered many elements since I last studied chemistry. I would say it is likely there are even more than we know about right now. They could have come here for that super secret unknown element that is essential for bending space and traveling beyond super-super-light speed.
