I met a REAL ancient astronaut theorist last night.
|
Had a chat with him for about an hour on it. We focused the discussion mainly on the little golden "airplanes" looking at them on an iPad. His reasoning was almost the same as the wild haired guy. What else could it be besides a plane or short range space ship? How could you possibly make something like this at random, not having seen a plane or space shuttle before?
What else could they be? Fish? Birds? Gliders made by the Mayans and Incas? Some random abstract art?

What they are isn't what makes it alienish. It's how they are perfectly aerodynamic, and they blew up one of these exactly how it is. Then fitted it with an engine, and it flew. How could they have had any concept of physics or aerodynamics 3000-4000 years ago.

I haven't heard a solid theory as to why they could be anything else that what those guys claim them to be.
Considering our sun is a 3rd generation star it is possible (unlikely perhaps) that we have been visited in the past.
Those designs are definitely atmosphere designs and not spaceships though.

There have been many times throughout history where we had some really important potential invention that ended up as a toy for a LONG TIME and never actually made it to fruition or took decades or centuries.
That said they could be toys -- OR they could have had some form of aircraft -- it didnt have to survive all those years. People always underestimate what ancient civilizations could do.

Thing is I dont remember all of em -- there was once a TV show on such inventions -- they had dozens of them -- was on discovery if I remember right.
