Actually in a way it is a population war.
And the islam followers are winning.
The christians are having far fewer children and hence are being progressively outnumbered.
No contraception makes you end up having more children.

Common sense would dictate the secular earth would be much more advanced and be able to wipe out the religious earth, but experience has shown that most of the advanced in technology are due to war. And, the secular earth would be content to not kill anyone but the religious earth would have a hardon to kill all non believers. I would like to think the secular earth would have the technology to just thwart the religious earth like a 6 year old.

If there was no religion that idiots would find some other "cause" that would rationalize the evil they do.
The thought that a secular world would be peaceful and a utopia is laughable. Both sides would would have their jackasses who want to kill or rule.

A secular world would not be peaceful or utopian. But at least you'd be able predict people's behavior based upon interests (money, sex, power, etc.). I find dealing with moral people chaotic. You never know when their beliefs might kick in an cause them to break a promise or kill someone or rape a prepubescent boy.
