Overly descriptive of food. Blah.

This was my big complaint with the books... 2 pages to to describe a meal.

Maybe a couple crossovers, but for the most part, it's a 'split' book.

TBH I can't separate what happened to who in what book(s) anymore. It's all sort of blended together into 'the' story.

There's some delight in ale and wine,
And some in girls with ankles fine,
But my delight, yes, always mine,
Is to dance with Jak o' the Shadows.

They made me mad. Unfinished stories, threads left hanging, characters you like killed off with no fanfare, just oh that guys dead. Overly descriptive of food. Blah.

pretty much this, in book 4 we got an overload of stupid Sansa and Brienne, not enough Tyrion or Jon.

I'm stuck about 400 pages into book 4, bored with Brienne

Cause you're not quite evil enough. You're semi-evil, you're quasi-evil, you're the margarine of evil,
you're the diet coke of evil, just one calorie, not "evil" enough.

if you think book 4 is boring wait until book 5. hundreds of pages of not a whole lot happening.

I didn't even pick up Dance of Dragons yet, because he hasn't finished the series, and he's another one of these authors who could very well keel over before he's done writing the series.

Almost as bad as Jordon and his endless descriptions about the wardrobe choices of his characters...

and you have another 5 years until he even gets close to finishing the next book...

I can't wait for everyone to catch up and wait on book 6...and get disappointed again and again and again with release dates being cancelled and pushed back. They will all learn.
