That is ruining PB&J and the creator of that monstrosity should be dealt with and be removed from the gene pool.

If i make a peanut butter sandwich i put butter in it. Cant comment on pb&j as they are revolting and shouldnt be eaten by anyone
Sandwiches in general require a little butter to wet down the bread, but then i dont put mayo or anything on my sandwiches. In Britain we put butter in our sammiches before anything else.

You do know that "Limey" is an Irish word used to describe the English specifically? And the act of putting butter in sandwiches is a British thing (the British Isles also including Ireland)? So no, it's not a "Limey" thing.

When I was a kid I would eat butter and peanut butter sandwiches sometimes. Yum!
As an adult though if my mom is ever making hamburgers she tries to butter the buns all the time. I have told her a zillion times I don't want her to put butter on the buns but she still does it. So then I have to put mayo over the butter!

I will lightly butter buns only if the buns are going face down on the grill for a few mins.
