yeah i had a feeling that wouldn't be something they allowed and the way they work battlenet accounts now i wouldn't feel comfortable with access to anything on someone elses account anyway. i get immediate access on release though, i did the free digital copy for signing up for a year of WoW. so i won't be waiting too much longer even if they don't send me a beta.

Yeah pretty sure it's exactly for that reason. Your account is linked to all your subs and other Blizzard games and your billing info.
If it was just a specific login for the D3 beta, they probably wouldn't care.

i love that caledric is stalking me with hate. it's like a dream come true to have someone so affected. 
anyway, the wizard doesn't have any skills that gain but they get a whole bunch of no mana use skills so i see what you're saying. wd is just so.. boring. the pets you get don't do anything of note and that's like all you get in the early levels. here's some more pets that will do 1 damage spam.

I think the main problem was the lack of crafted WD weapons until level 20 or so. Every other class has class specific crafted weapons. I didn't think the class was that bad though. The aoe eels and spider jars were fun.

spider jars are hilarious. don't get me wrong. i love them. i also love the zombie dogs. the problem is that all of the skills are based on your weapon damage and you're stuck with a weapon that has no damage until you can craft the level 20ish one. and the mojo thing you can make is also beyond level 13 so that sucks too. but like the spiders do, i think it was, 25% of weapon damage. so mine never hit for more than 1. they're just tiny walking dots. the zombie dogs are similar. which is fine, i like dot classes, but the levels we're given access to do NOT help the witch doctor's fate as far as me playing it at launch. it will likely be the last character i play to 50.

i'm still mad about swtor. it could have been such an amazing game if bioware had listened to the actual testers instead of telling us all to go fk ourselves because they had a dedicated fanbase who loved everything stupid they did.

Just don't use the knives, I think I used a mace on mine. You miss out on the mana regen bonuses most of the knives have, but you can actually kill things. The aoe eels with a good dps weapon wrecks things.
