the witchdoctor uses "ceremonial stone knives" as it's main weapon. they do piss damage. i mean even at level 13 i find regular ones that do like 2-4 damage and profanity. generally, this would be fine because you don't use it to attack mobs and everything, however, the first several skills you're given do like 150% weapon damage. ... WTF BLIZZARD!? i end up using the stupidest profanity as my main hand weapon because using my class weapon gets me doing 3 damage a shot.  equip like a barbarian weapon and suddenly my attack that was doing 3 damage shoots up to doing 20 damage. this was a problem in the last build too. i'm not super concerned about it because the wd is a terrible fking class. it's boring as HELL. i want to play it because i love the super almost racist voice acting and posture and clothing and stuff but.. ugh.

Witch Doctor shouldn't have even been in the game. Every other class uses skills that gain a resource, and others that use them. WD is purely using mana, and they can't spam their skills or they run out, and once they run out, they literally can't do anything. Every other class can. They can't. Awful.

If the class is that bad it seems that they would do some significant tweaking before release.

I hope so.
I want to be one for hardcore play (pets = survivability) but right now they're gimped. No DPS, poor cooldowns, no survivability...
