The money for those items seems to be running TOWARDS the government rather than away from it.

The US gave oil companies approximately 5 billion in oil subsidies last year, approximately the same amount they paid in federal taxes.
But the Republican literature denies that. Clearly you're a lying democrat.

I didn't say that I'd never heard of them. Democrats yammer about them all the time. What I don't see is what it is that they are actually doing for subsidies.
