I'm pretty sure that when your job description is, "Run into hell with an ice cube and try to keep people from burning"....heroism is the more accurate and apt description.

You can disagree, but you can't change reality to fit what you want it to be.

i'm not trolling, its an observation.

whenever i hear of heroism its usually accompanied by stuff like, guy runs into burning building while being shot at and throwing gernades back. i'm not debating its brave, just that it seems stupid too.

some of you people think everything is black and white. your emotion makes it so you cannot analyze anything.

People like you will never understand, and that is perfectly ok. The military goes where they are directed but they fight for each other, not for the cause. When you live in combat situations, you develop a bond with your fellow troops that inspires these acts of "stupidity'. You simply do what needs doing to protect your fellow troops. You don't need to understand, just go on making fun of people that you simply can't understand. Trust me, they won't mind.

do you know how to read?

i'm not making fun of them. i could argue that people like you are reasons bigotry exists.

its interesting how the argument goes from 'they're protecting our country' to 'they're not fighting for the cause anymore, and for their fellow troops.'
