no, the issue is that there could be natural trends over the extremely long periods of time that we are not seeing due to not having the data available. the smaller your sample size (for any kind of research) the greater the chance for inaccuracies.
if you know that a particular sample size is too small, doesn't that imply that you know how big it should be? so please, if you think the sample size is too small, let everyone know how much data you do need and how far back. lolol

the only proof i need is to look at a day in august where i had a frost 3 nights in a row that killed off most of my garden.
then i look at hitting 70 in the winter and it's even more proof.
global warming is not real...climate change was a farce because they only renamed their money maker because warming was not exactly fitting what was happening.

well more than 33 years I should think (that's what OP's chart covers anyways)...something more on the lines of 200 would be my guess. The last 200 years are when we (humans) have effected the climate the most I would think.
are you actually trying to imply that 30 years is enough to tell whether or not there are natural climate changes on Earth? This planet is millions and millions of years old, do you honestly think there isn't the slightest possibility that there is a natural climate change that takes longer than 30 years to show?

umm.. reading comprehension anyone?
where did i say it is too small? are you denying that having smaller data sets leads to less accurate results? the previous point was at least somewhat valid. you have a huge history of the planet with only a relatively very small (and recent) set of recorded data. from this, predictions for the future, and claims wrt the cause are being made. you cannot determine the number of people on the planet based on how many babies were born in canada (or even expand it to the whole world) this year. you'd need more data, from multiple previous years, or even looking at other factors as well (death rates for example) in order to get an even remotely accurate result.
i applaud people for trying to discover why certain things are happening, but the limits of our knowledge need to be accepted as well.
