isnt this pretty much what theyre paid to do already though? I mean you pay 300 lb muscle bound men a few million a year to basically ram into each other at full running speed, what real difference is there in whether its directed at one specific person? It just seems kinda dumb to me. The people going into the sport knows its dangerous and know what theyre getting into when they sign up. They know they run the risk of major injury. I can sorta see how its alittle unfair to specifically target someone but ya get what I mean? Its still kinda part of the game. lol Thats not to say what they were doing is right either but still...I dunno maybe what Im trying to say is clear. lol

So you are the commissioner of the league. You and your entity are being sued because you have not done enough to protect players. You find out that a team has put in a system to pay players to injure other players on purpose and you opt to do nothing because "its not a friendly scrum out there".
As opposed to players just getting hurt because its a violent game.
And you see no difference.
You are either being dense on purpose, or blind, which is it?

Then it's time for him to tell the truth about how the game is played. People also watch NASCAR for the wrecks and everyone knows it. Maybe car racing should stop.

This is your interpretation, which is part of why you dont like me, you pigeonhole people into buckets when you dont understand something.
I would love to hear though your "gray" area for paying players to hurt other players. How is that gray at all? I am sure Goodell sees that as completely unacceptable, especially considering the league he runs is being sued by players who dont feel he is doing enough to protect them.
I didnt put Do Nothing because I figured if you wanted to Do Nothing you could just post that. I also didnt figure anyone would be dense enough to figure Goodell would do nothing but apparently I was incorrect.
Please explain how this is gray though, I am sure myself and others would LOVE to hear that hilarity.
