there is nothing for a 1 year old to do...you go on a vacation for yourself and bring the kid along or leave him/her with someone you trust for a few days...

you can't go on a rollercoaster of any kind (what kind of freak parent would put a 1 year old on one even if they allowed them anyways?)...And it's not like you can go look at pretty scenery and the kid will enjoy it.

Just go somewhere you want to go where bringing a kid wouldn't be a big hassle (beach is always good, especially if they're walking pretty well) and save up for something big when the kid is about 5 or 6 and go to disneyworld or something.

or you can read the thread, be less douchey and just say, probably the beach would be a neat idea!

how was that douchey?

hell if i know

I did read the thread, thanks for the advice though. I'll be sure and not use it, ever.

Wherever you can go that doesn't involve being on an airplane

I was also thinking someplace with a nice beach. Babies like to play in water and she could play in/eat some sand too. If ya take the pooches, they would have a ball on the beach.
Find a beach area that isn't crowded with a bunch of people.

It doesn't really matter.

You're not going to have fun with a 1 year old on "vacation" with you and the 1 year old won't remember.

Chuck E Cheeze?

Even though she won't remember it, I think the experiences help mold her personality and moral constructs for later in life as well

Ok it appears I should have been more specific with my request as some of you are having trouble comprehending.

I need a vacation. It isn't about going to disney or theme parks for the kid to see.
