Okay. What about mileage? Cars can be good until 200k miles if taken car of, are bikes similar? Is a 25k mile bike nearing its end or pretty much new?
depends new Japanese touring bikes can last a 100k+ miles if properly maintained.
I would ask for maintenance records.

beginner harley, been riding 500-700cc bikes for a couple years. Never owned a bike though.
