Wow, I hope your doc answers the freaking phone if things are "out of hand".
I am sorry but that is not very good advice. What happens when her battery dies, or she is in another room? Or the call doesn't show up? Or she is in with another patient at the time? There has to be some way to empower you so that you don't rely on someone being available at any given time.
And I am going to take the word of a mother 10 times out of 10 on what they experience emotionally after having a kid versus someone who has not. Sorry but that is a logical conclusion. It is not logical to GUESS how you would behave after having a kid. When you assume they are in danger from shadowpeople, you cannot guess how you will react to it.

You cant have someone's kids taken away from them just because the parent is ill. In swoops CPS to take the child away. After all, perfectly sane parents can snap and hurt their kids, its just as likely to happen as a mentally ill parent hurting their child.
Actually, a prior history of mental instability can most definitely be used as grounds to justify an unfit mother. Especially when the parent has been committed and has demonstrated delusional behavior. The child may be deemed in danger when a disorder results in the inability of a parent to maintain their own well being.

i love that sooz's delusions now include knowing all the laws for american cps.  all it would take is like one person suggesting to them that you are an unfit parent for them to investigate and take your child away.
