Name of the Wind ~ Patrick Rothfuss
loved it, i have less than 2 hours left the 2nd book, Wise Man's Fear, to listen to which i'm also loving
unfortunately it took him about 4 years to come out with the 2nd book so it might be a long wait for the 3rd one...sigh

the second book isn't as good as the first. it's not as engaging and even less happens. but it's the middle book and generally, middle books suck by comparison. i have faith that the 3rd book will be just as good as name of the wind! i'm going to start rereading them again soon i think. i have to get out of this rut where i'm not really reading as much and reading rothfuss always puts me back into it.

For Dunes:
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
