It's weird to pick up a hobby later than your teens? Just do what you want. People passed their 20s aren't socially required to be parents and couch potatoes only.

Yes she's hot and VERY talented.
Fencing is expensive but it is something you can buy a piece at a time. If you join a club or take lessons at a club all equipment is provided. If you want to continue you can buy stuff when you want to. You will always have access to a clubs equipment but you might want your own weapon, then eventually your own mask and so on. You never have to buy everything at once.
I'm 33 and I joined the club I am a part of without knowing anyone. I have been accepted because of my previous fencing and my skill easily. But there are people of all ages checking out the sport and joining.
Find a club, call them and talk to one of the coaches. Find out the times a coach is there. See if you can meet with them before it opens. Then sit in and watch a lesson and some bouting. Feel free to talk to people in the club parents, participants, and coaches. Ask questions and get to know people. Then when you are ready to take lessons you know a little about the people involved and the people you will learn with.
You are never to old to learn to fence.

Meh, certain hobbies are kind of weird after a certain age. You really wanna be the only adult in a class/community full of children? No thanks.

See, even you have previous experience. It's one thing to get back into it. It's another to start from scratch. I'm really just making excuses to keep myself from getting into another hobby. Got enough things to stay on top of for now...

Her laughing pictures show awkward tooth-gum ratio which I very rarely find attractive. Not impossible though! I thought it was!
Anywho yeah I don't know if I could take it in the long run but damn is she gorgeous.
You know, looking at it again scratch that. She's one of the chosen few where that tooth - gum ratio is acceptable.

Yeah she can have that nose smile. The smile that flairs out the nose. What do you expect she has middle eastern blood and that's where the nose comes from. She has a pretty face and an amazing looking body.

Oh and in the response to you guys, deadcactus I know exactly how you feel bro.
But MSS, that was a great explanation of how to do it right and have it be the least amount of awkward to start.
I'm still going with DC on this one though. You said previous fencing experience, that's not fair. I'd see starting to learn how to skillfully fly a kite sooner than beginners fencing.
Although dead, I think we should challenge ourselves to a skateboard one of these days.

Look at those pearly whites! Good looking teeth is also sexy.
It's never too late to pick up new skills. Could almost teach yourself to a certain level if you can grasp the technique and knowledge about it if you don't want to go to a class, though I don't see anything weird about it at all |
