going to have it for the first time tomorrow. I know how its really pronounced too! so, which one to get? My dad, who LOVES it, says to get the one with tendons in it.

Well, ok then go for something like the Pho Bò Ðac Biet (beef “specialâ€) Round steak, flank, fatty brisket, shredded tripe, tendon, and meatballs.
But I didn't like the meatballs in any of the Pho.

Wherever you go, ask your waitress for what the cook's specialty is. . . Especially for Asian cuisine.
Not only is it a compliment to the chef and the establishment, you'll tend to get the best that they make. Don't even ask what it is...
This is especially a good choice for sushi bars.
The only time that this went bad for me was when they recommended the to one of the cantonese squid. Steer clear of that sh**... burnt plastic isolation. ugh.
