Gotta love an entrenched plutocracy. Too bad we can't undo the last 200 years of education, or we'd still be able to pay workers 30 cents an hours  (in current U.S. currency).
College should be available to anyone, of any wealth. That doesn't mean it needs to be free, but there should be cheap enough options.

It was just a hoop I jumped through to get a foot in the door at a high level. I work IT, the years of experience I have already rendered it useless.

See, BT, what you don't get is that degrees are already useless - but the perception is right now that they aren't...and I'll take any advantage I can get, even if it disappears later, because by then it won't matter to me.
