Congrats, I was following the ordeal on facebook.
My wife was in labor for 14 hrs and pushed for about 2. I know you had a bit more and for that I salute you.
Loth was a pretty good PR guy during labor - lol. I am so glad that it wasn't too long for her. I don't know how the heck I made it through 25 hours of labor and pushed for 4.

if you got a boppy it works great as a butt/vagina pillow.
are you on my facebooks?
I was told not to sit on anything that had an open hole - donut or boppy. It apparently can cause stitches to rip out. I already hurt bad enough, I can't imagine how much more I'd hurt if any of mine ripped. ><
Thank you, everyone! We're pretty excited about our handsome little guy.

I hope you dont like sleep.
another tip dont pick the child up every time it cries, if all of its needs have been met.( I know this goes against parental instincts)
trust me, you dont want to end up with a needy baby that always has to be held.

Infants aren't needy/clingy under a certain age, and certainly not as newborns. If they cry, there's a reason, and no reason not to pick them up. In fact, studies have shown the opposite- more contact with mom/dad makes for a more confident, well adjusted baby/child. Crying and not having their emotional needs met at such a young age can be detrimental, emotionally and mentally. Repeated studies have confirmed this. And you say you're studying child psychology? WTF kind of backwards program are you in??
